DDP Audio PlayerDDP Audio Player allows you to listen to the audio tracks contained within a DDP fileset. The DCA DDP Audio Player is used to listen to audio tracks from a DDP fileset. With the DDP Audio Player, you can listen to each track, fast forward through a track to a specific time, or set the DDP Player to scan all tracks by playing a short part of each track. You can choose to Hide Non-Playable tracks or Hide Audio Pauses. If you choose not to Hide Audio Pauses, the DDP Audio Player will allow you to listen to the pauses between tracks. This is especially useful when user content is hidden in pause areas. The DDP Audio Player can also be set to bypass Microsoft Windows sound modules. Your PC computer's sound subsystem was designed to allow audio to be changed as it passes through the built in sound support. This is fine for listening to music while you work. But if your work is in a studio testing whether the audio is ready to be sent to a replicator, the default components are not of sufficient quality for reproducing the audio. When the Windows sound modules are bypassed, the DDP Audio Player uses a DCA designed sound component which allows the raw audio to be passed through the sound subsystem. The output can be played through headphones or studio speakers. The DDP Audio Player also has an available studio quality Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) module or AES/EBU board to allow you to have absolute fidelity to the source DDP files. These optional components means you will be able to hear exactly what the source content sounds like after its conversion into DDP. Contact us to learn more about DDP Audio Player. |
